Photography - introduction

Course Information

This course gives an introduction into using your digital compact camera effectively. A compact camera will be small with a fixed flash and lens.

Course Entry Requirements

This course is for complete beginners using a compact camera.

What Will I Learn?

You will learn how to produce better photographs, composure and framing.

You will learn about:
* Setting quality
* Using flash
* landscapes
* Portraits
* Macro (close-up) photography
* Correcting brightness in the camera

Assessment and Accreditation

Continual assessment and a portfolio of work.

What Should I Bring?

Your digital camera, and a pen and note pad.

What Can I Do Next?

This course will enable you to progress onto Digital Imaging or NCFE Photography.
