Course Information

This course covers 3 units: Photography, editing and presentation.

Course Entry Requirements

A digital camera with Aperture, Shutter & Manual settings (AV/TV& M). Most SLR and Hybrid cameras will be most suitable. If you are unsure contact Mark Williams on 01642 304220 or mark.williams@maes.ac.uk

What Will I Learn?

You will learn a full range of camera controls, how to edit and save your images and how to present the final print.

* Automatic, Semi-Automatic AV and TV mode, Manual
* Exposure Compensation (correcting light and dark images)
* Fill-Flash
* Filters
* Basic photo editing, Sizing for printing, Mounting and displaying

Assessment and Accreditation

You will create a portfolio and Self assessment

What Should I Bring?

An SLR or Hybrid camera, tripod & notepad

NCFE Level 2.
