Course Information

The course will introduce you to some techniques to make simple jewellery. You can explore your creative and design skills to produce some unique pieces of jewellery for yourself or for gifts for your friends and family.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

What Will I Learn?

You will develop a knowledge of basic equipment for jewellery making,you will be introduced to a variety of pieces of jewellery and some basic designs.You will be able to create articles which will build in complexity as the course progresses.

Assessment and Accreditation

This course is not certificated, but your progress will be reviewed and discussed with you regularly and you will produce evidence of your achievements each term.

What Should I Bring?

You will need:

pen and paper for the first session.

The tutor will advise you about the range of tools and materials that you will need, and we encourage recycling of materials to keep the costs down.
